Enhancing Dermal Fillers
Restylane® and Juvéderm®
The FDA has approved a new class of safe, effective and long lasting dermal fillers known as Hyaluronic Acids. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that our body produces to help keep our tissue plump. Restylane and Juvéderm contain these gel-like substances that help smooth out deep lines and wrinkles when injected underneath the skin. Common areas treated include the nasolabial folds (laugh lines), glabella (frown lines), and forehead. These fillers instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away wrinkles and folds. They are also used to help plump up the lips giving you a more youthful appearance. Restylane and Juvederm can last up to 9 - 12 months and do not require an allergy skin test prior to its first use. Treatments are simple, convenient, and often used in combination with Botox. Your licensed physician will see if combination treatments are right for you
